As widely noted, the NY Times list of 100 Notable Books of the Year is out and this life long literature lover can only claim having read 3 of the books on the list in their entirety and one partially. One of the three read was a book of poetry, the other I wrote about quite a bit around here and was only an afternoon of reading and the last, Paglia’s BBB, I read in drips and drabs, more drabs, I’m afraid, over quite a while.
Although, looking at the list, I’ll add that there aren’t many on there that I would want to read and none of them are on my short list TBR.
