The Short List Revisited and Melville House Books
Thanks to Ed’s comment on my Short List post, I cyberly went over to Melville House Books and it turns out they have a whole series of novellas. So I bought Melville’s Bartleby the Scrivener, and to make the postage worth it, I bought James’ Lesson of the Master. Each book was only $9. Thanks Ed. Which reminds me that if The Whale were on the “thick-ass books” list, I would be up to 4-1/6.
Do a mitzvah for Melville House, go buy something: Melville House Books
