Over the weekend I redesigned the Chekhov’s Mistress Site. There are yet a few content elements to update, but the structure is in place. Please stop by if you can and comment on the new look. Most importantly though, tell me if anything looks broken or out of place. I’ve tested the site on several browsers, operating systems and resolutions, but you just never know.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled program…
Well, the main page looks fab, but the comment page is rendering kind of weird in IE 6. There’s a big blue block between the word Comment and the actual comment interface.

Thank you very much, Gwenda. Back to the drawing board for me. Internet Explorer is a drag.

Do love the site arrangement and color scheme, but something still wrong with the comment page--it’s spread out too far between the address info and the comment box.

Yes, I am using Mozilla and there is a huge gap between the address info and comment box. But it looks so pretty otherwise.

I think that fixes it. Thanks for your helpfull comments.

Looks good to me, Bud.

Looks good overall. The font is a little small for my taste. Must be getting old.

Looks very clean and readable to me.

I am using Firefox 1.0 on XP (I also have it configured to not load images).
The comment info is extened “into the blue” my my, hey hey.
I especially like the expandable blogroll menu.

Thanks All,
Tito revealed a hidden secret in that there is an image in the content section that maintains a consistent right column, so that a browser not loading images will only see the blue background. This unfortunately is not something I can change with the current design. The site design does meet Sec. 508 guidelines for accessibility though.
Thanks again,
Bud
