I mentioned several times here how much I like Frank Bidart’s poetry, but I’ve never had the courage or wherewithal to dig into it within any great depth. At The Great American Pinup David Koehn takes a close look at Frank Bidart’s translation of Tu Fu’s “Dazzling Women” from the Chinese. You may also want to go back and read some of the earlier posts he makes on the subject. Highly Recommended.
