Nice try New York. This is a question for New York State tax filers:
If, while a resident of New York, you purchased goods or services (such
as information services) from out-of-state retailers during 2003, you
may owe sales or use tax on these items. Examples are:
– Internet purchases
etc…
So I went and calculated the taxes due on my thousands (?) of Amazon purchases. I guess April Fools day falls on the 15th now.
