Chekhov's Mistress

“He disappeared in the dead of winter…”

January 24th, 7-8PM

At Barnes & Noble Union Square (33 E. 17th St.), 4th Floor, the Yeats Society of New York is hosting a reading to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Yeats’ death.

Poets Samuel Menasche — 2004 recipient of the first $50,000 Neglected Masters Award of the Poetry Foundation (publisher of Poetry Magazine) — Rachel Hadas and Diana Ben-Merre join actors Sam McCready and Joan McCready.

The title comes from the first line of an Auden ode.

Read widely, think well, and write often.
