While I’m on the subject of Zbigniew Herbert, it’s worth mentioning Charles Simic’s excellent – for it’s dwelling on little more than Herbert’s poetry – discussion of The Collected Poems in the New York Review of Books (sadly, for subscribers only)
Also, it should come as no surprise that The Complete Review has a thorough roundup of Herbert information, although not yet on the new collection.
