MetaxuCafé Litblog Network is now launched.
MetaxuCafé is devoted to highlighting the best content from the community of bloggers who write about books.
We serve both the writers and readers and intend to drive traffic to member’s sites and create context around and give permanence to their original writing.
The idea behind the network is to put all the great commentary out there among book blogs in a more manageable form as the blogosphere grows.
The site’s main elements will highlight member’s content, ala AL Daily or The Page, but for blogs, offer up headlines from member sites and give member’s space to post or cross-post their work. We’ll also be posting regularly about members and blogging, particularly as it pertains to book blogs.
The members page will give readers an opportunity to find blogs that cover their particular interest and see the latest posts from each.
There’s also a forum to share resources and ideas and some other goodies to come. I hope that MetaxuCafé goes some way to sustaining the valuable conversation about literature that we all take part in every day.
Thank you to the special few people who listened, gave needed advice and encouraged me.
More later, but there are a million details left to handle and the capillaries in my eyeballs are getting a case of carpel tunnel syndrome.
This is an excellent initiative. Thanks for starting it up. I look forward to stopping in at the Cafe.
