Okay, not exactly local, but somehow when you visit someone’s site so often, it feels local…

It’s well known that Michael Orthofer’s amazingly massive (1435 books) accomplishment The Complete Review was recognized in Time Magazine as one of the Coolest places on the Web. His Weblog that accompanies that site is the Literary Saloon and can be found on the Literary Blogs links to the right. But what might go unnoticed next to that undertaking is the Quarterly Review, a literary Weblog review, and a fiction site, Inquest, a Serial Fantasia.


Also,


Armand Frasco’s site Moleskinerie – devoted to those oh so useful notebooks that seem to replicate like rabbits around my house – had a full page article in the New York Times Magazine over the weekend.


And,


Someone told me today that “Blogs are the new sexy!” according to one of the local free newspapers. I suppose that a blog with “Mistress” in the name should be really sexy then.


What else?
