Chekhov's Mistress

Maggie Nelson on CBS 48 Hours Mystery

by Bud Parr

You may recall I enjoyed Maggie Nelson’s book Jane {a murder}, which is about a women’s quest – beautifully written in the form of poetry – to understand more about her aunt who was murdered at a young age. 30 years after her murder, investigators have a new suspect in the case and CBS is covering the story on their “48 Hours Mystery” show this Saturday at 10:00 p.m. I think Ms. Nelson will be on the show. I’ll let you know. 48 Hours Mystery viewers might be surprised when they go to buy Jane expecting some titillating murder mystery and find a poetic contemplation of a life.
