I had intended to write about n+1, a new arts and culture journal, in a greater context at some point, but I was just led over to their site by Maud and found some opinionated coverage of the unriotous marches in NYC this week.
I’m inspired to write this because I really like this journal. It’s well written and thoughtful. Now I have to say that I am the type to read long journals without pictures like the grownups do, so that’s my bias, but I think that n+1 is worth checking out. A good place to start is their website. They are smart enough to include some original web content in addition to the print journal, which is available at a list of bookstores here.
I will probably write a more thorough piece about these guys because I have a completely unrelated anecdote that I wanted to include when I do.
And I didn’t think I was going to be making any posts this week!
