If any of the other Quixote readers are like me, then about all they know regarding D.Q. is that it’s big and the main character tries to gut windmills in his spare time.

I suppose I could just dive in to D.Q. in total ignorance, but instead I’m going to try and get a bit of a better grip before I start reading. Maybe some of the other Quixoites will want to read up themselves. Here are some online resources I’ve discovered:

I took a class on Cervantes last fall and our concentration, of course, was Quijote. I have since become a little obsessed with finding all the information out there about Cervantes and his masterful novel. I have discovered a vast array of sites that have helped me on my journey. I’m a bit surprised by the number of people with this same obsession; most are even more extreme than I. I now don’t feel alone or as bizarre as my husband thinks I have become. I found the 400 Windmills site this morning and have been attached to my computer since then. I appreciate the sites that you provided, although I was already familiar with Bookrags, the summary and notes site. If you would like to visit some of the sites I have enjoyed, let me know and I will surely pass them on to you and all the other obsessed readers who visit this site. Thanks, Mary Lee
